Glendeer Lodge is a hidden gem nestled in a peaceful, rural setting. My room was incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated, providing a true sense of luxury. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bathroom was spotlessly clean with a fabulous shower. The hosts, Jude and Paul, were welcoming and had great recommendations for restaurants in the area. I loved the fact that the lodge had its own deer in the field, creating a unique and picturesque atmosphere. The DIY breakfast offered a wide selection of delicious options. my stay at Glendeer Lodge was wonderful and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and tranquil retreat.

The hotel offers a range of complimentary snacks and fruits, spacious and comfortable rooms with modern furniture, a clean and tidy bathroom, and a window with a beautiful garden view. The bed is comfortable, perfect for a light sleeper. The hotel is conveniently located near a fantastic coast, just a 15-minute walk away.
The care provided by the owners made us feel at home, and they were always willing to help with anything we needed.

Glendeer Lodge was such great value for money! The room was cozy and the bed was hands down the comfiest we had during our entire month-long trip. The location was perfect - close to town yet peaceful with a beautiful coastline walk to the lighthouse. The hosts were genuine, welcoming, and had fantastic local knowledge.
Food for breakfast could use an additional shelf in the bathroom to keep toothbrushes and other stuff.

Bed was comfortable, great shower
Place was closed when I arrived at 2.30pm after driving for 8 hours. Breakfast is very poor. Considering the price a few containers of cereal and a do it yourself toaster and kettle for hot drinks is unacceptable.

I always stay at this place. Staff helped with late check-in at first stay. It suits me perfectly. Free Wi-Fi, car park, outdoor dining area, flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and breakfast are everything I need. Coming back for city trip. No regrets!

It was good to be in a lodge rather than a hotel. It was more homely and staff very friendly.
Our room was a bit small.
